Hello and welcome to my webpage.
In the following sections you will learn a little about me, what I do,
see a list of some of the services and works I carry out for people.

THE TRUSTED GARDENER
I have worked in and around gardens for most of my life. In the last few years I focused more on working for myself and taking bookings from various sources (which have been mostly through word of mouth up to now).
I currently look after several large gardens for some dedicated clients, assisting with tidying, planting, pruning, etc and occasional outdoor woodwork.
WHAT I CAN HELP YOU WITH
First and foremost, I will endeavor to work with the seasons and try to avoid the likes of heavy prunning, hedge cutting etc out of season. This may vary depending on what is in your particular garden.
Garden work can be carried out all year round and in reasonable weather conditions (with good rain gear), so if I cannot get to you immediately there is still plenty of time left in the year to help in your garden.
SPRING/SUMMER MONTHS
are good for planting and tidy-ups,
some wood/bark mulching, weeding, bulb planting, etc.
AUTUMN/WINTER MONTHS
are great for pruning trees/shrubs/fruit trees, hedge cutting, bareroot tree planting, wood/bark mulching, bulb planting, adding manure around flower/vegetable/fruit tree beds, etc.
I also create Barn Owl Boxes during winter months - price available on request.
I CURRENTLY CANNOT TAKE AWAY GARDEN WASTE
(unless it is of a reasonably small amount (no hitch for a trailer on my car).
I CURRENTLY DO NOT MOW LAWNS
(unless you have a lawnmower on site which I may use).
I WILL NOT CUT HEDGES/SHRUBS DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS
as there is a very good chance something may be nesting in the hedge.
Anytime before March or after the end of September is best for this type of work.
Some very light hedge/shrub tidy-up may occasionally be undertaken
during Summer months but this will need a discussion first.
Everything is open to discussion.
Once we've had a chance to talk work can then commence at an arranged date.
MOST IMPORTANT
•PLEASE READ CAREFULLY•
• The main thing that affects my work is the weather
so certain precautions will need to be undertaken for my safety.
• In the case of severe or very bad weather,
I will either change the date (if possible) or work for a half day instead of the full day.
This will be determined on a case to case basis
and consultation with the client will always be carried out.
BOOKINGS
• Prices will be created on an individual basis.
All gardens are a little different and some jobs bigger than others,
so after a personal consultation, we can discuss price.
• I will contact you via text on the week of our pre-arranged days.
A confirmation reply will be needed via text to ensure that you still want me to come.
CANCELLATIONS
If bookings (single or block) are cancelled within an unreasonable time frame
then a cancellation fee of 30% of the agreed price is chargeable.
